Nancy Ingram

Mrs. Nancy Ingram teaches middle school English, literature, and journalism, directs the school choir, and is our sixth grade homeroom teacher. This is her twenty-ninth year of teaching at Faith Lutheran School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Concordia Lutheran College, Austin, TX, with specializations in English and Music, and a Classical Lutheran Educator Certificate from the CCLE.

Mrs. Ingram believes that Classical Lutheran education provides an opportunity for students to learn the "good, true, and beautiful" through the lens of God's inspired Word. Classical education teaches students how to learn and how to love learning. Lutheran classical education recognizes God as the author and source of all learning, and students strive to do all to His glory. She enjoys watching students develop a love for learning and an appreciation for good literature, and the faculty and staff are a great blessing to her and our students.

Mrs. Ingram’s family has been a part of Faith Lutheran Church and School for many decades, and her four children are all graduates of FLS. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she also serves as the church organist and choir director and rings in the handbell choir. Her favorite pastimes are visiting her grandchildren and anything involving a good book!
