Michelle Holmes
Mrs. Michelle Holmes is the preschool director and the preschool and prekindergarten teacher for Faith Lutheran School. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, a Classical Lutheran Educator Certificate from the CCLE, and a Director’s Certificate. She has been a teacher at FLS since 2008.

Mrs. Holmes believes the greatest attribute of classical Lutheran education is that the children learn the Bible and Catechism thoroughly. They learn traditional stories and poems that reinforce good character, virtues, and lessons, and are taught to use their knowledge (grammar) and thinking (logic) in eloquent rhetoric. She enjoys the Christian atmosphere at FLS, where faith is present in every subject that is taught, and appreciates how everyone works together. She loves hearing young children apologize to each other and be forgiven without prompting, and walking down the halls hearing familiar hymns sung by students and played on instruments.

Mrs. Holmes loves cooking family dinners, gardening, keeping chickens, and stitching crafts when she has time. She also enjoys serving on the church Altar Guild.
