Steven Krycho

Steven Krycho teaches middle and high school Latin and middle school history and is our eighth grade homeroom teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Education from Concordia University Wisconsin, a Certificate in Classical Lutheran Education from the CCLE, and also studied under John Warwick Montgomery at Concordia University and at the International Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism, and Human Rights. He has been a teacher at Faith Lutheran School since 2020.

Mr. Krycho believes that the greatest strength of classical Lutheran education is that it combines the seven liberal arts from the Greco-Roman era with the catechism, confession, and chorales of the Lutheran Church, so that we may, as stated in our mission, present each student complete in Christ.

Mr. Krycho enjoys working with students in their formative teenage years, helping them to develop virtuous habits informed by Christian doctrine. He appreciates his interaction with all the joyful, witty, and intelligent personalities that walk into his classroom, and likes seeing how they mature in thought and in virtue throughout their education, looking forward to the rest of their lives on earth and in eternity.

Mr. Krycho is an avid reader of books, and he married an avid reader of books. He and his wife enjoy reading, appreciating paintings at art museums, and talking, often over a cup of coffee. He is also very interested in helping preserve and promote the hymns and liturgy of the Lutheran church.
