Where do you plan to attend college and major in, and what are your career plans? I will attend Concordia University, Nebraska, major in computer science while participating in the pre-seminary program, and then I will attend Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne.

What school activities have you been involved in? I have competed in soccer, basketball, flag football, and cross country. I played viola for all four years and sang in the choir for three.

What teacher impacted you the most and how? Pastor Stephen Kieser is the teacher who impacted me most. He taught me Algebra II and Greek, and through his knowledge and excitement, he instilled in me an appreciation of both math and of languages, as well as a love of learning.

What is the most interesting school project/assignment you have done? Translating the entirety of the Shrek script into Latin is the most interesting project that I’ve done. Myself and the rest of the Latin class took several class periods to divide up the script, translate each section into Latin, and then assemble it together into a final document.

What advice do you have for future high school graduates? Focus on your schoolwork and do well in all your classes, but take time to have fun with your friends. Persevere.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
