Faith Lutheran School conducted its tenth annual golf tournament on Friday, October 8 at McKinney’s Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club.
“This golf tournament is an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for our school, raise awareness about our school and its mission, and for us to simply gather for fun and fellowship together,” said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie. “Proceeds will help to provide our athletic teams the opportunity to replace old uniforms and buy needed equipment and will also benefit our tuition assistance program.”
The event raised more than $8,200, and post-event donations were still coming in following the event.
Event sponsors included KFUO Radio, Thrivent Financial – Colin Mildred, ABC Home & Commercial Services, Lenz Bus Service, aai Trophies and Awards, State Farm – John Kraft, Southwestern Chiropractic, Goldreich Orthodontics, the Faith Lutheran Fantasy Beer League and others.
