“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 THESS. 5:16–18).

BC (Before Covid-19), a time not very long ago, Faith Lutheran School celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week. The theme for the week was “Rejoice Always!” That is a message that we need to hear now in the midst of school closure, LFH, and trying times. Jesus Christ has died, is risen and now lives in the midst of it all AND He ALONE gives us very reason to rejoice always.

The picture above was taken this afternoon. Behind me is the cross that your students made from coffee filters (each uniquely tie-dyed) for National Lutheran Schools Week. Each child in our school is represented there. Jesus Christ died for us all. He lives for us all. Iniquities pardoned – Sinners redeemed – Life given. Rejoice Always!

In Christ,
Rev. Stephen W. Kieser, headmaster
