Education: Bachelor of arts degree in classical education from Concordia University Wisconsin
Responsibilities: I manage the 8th grade classroom, teach 6th-12th grade Latin, and teach 7th grade Texas History and direct the Texas Tour.
What do you like best about your job at Faith Lutheran School? I get to study and teach courses and ideas that I love, passing on things to my students which have been and are valuable in my own life.
What do you think makes Faith Lutheran School a unique and special experience for students and parents? Faith is a classical Lutheran school and high school. This means holistic, rigorous academics with an intellectual and active biblical backbone focused on cultivating the whole person in body, mind, and spirit.
What kinds of hobbies or special activities do you enjoy outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy collecting books, reading, writing, copying, editing, typesetting, and generally preserving and conserving great works of theology, philosophy, history, and literature.
What was your favorite childhood book? It is difficult to pick a favorite childhood book, but among my favorites were The Comedy, Beowulf, and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
