Faith Lutheran School today announced that the school has hired three new teachers for the 2018-2019 school year.
Christy Rivers will serve as the school’s third grade teacher. Rebekah Roundey will serve as the school’s seventh grade homeroom teacher and middle school/high school science teacher. Erika Mildred will serve as one of the school’s mathematics teachers.
“Faith Lutheran School of Plano has provided a strong presence among private schools in the area for more than 35 years. We are thrilled to add these talented teachers to our staff, because we know they are dedicated to providing excellent, high-quality, Christ-centered leadership and education for our students,” said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie.
Rivers has a Master of Arts Degree in Language and Literature from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. Rivers resides in Wylie.
Roundey has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics and Music from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. Roundey resides in Plano.
Mildred has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from Concordia University Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. Mildred resides in Coppell.
