In January, the fourth grade visited the Interurban Railway Museum in historic downtown Plano. The field trip was fun for the fourth graders, but was also educational.
On the field trip, students powered a room with electric circuits and generated an arc of electricity. They also explored models of Comanche and Caddo houses.
On main attraction was a preserved rail mail car. The students also enjoyed a model train that ran through a miniature-sized replica of historic Plano and the surrounding areas.
