On Thursday, December 20, Kindergarten through 8th grade students of Faith Lutheran School presented the Christmas program “Light a Candle”.

The event featured pre-service music by the school’s explorer band, concert band, keyboard classes, recorders and handbells.

Through recited parts and familiar hymns such as “Of the Father’s Love Begotten”, “O Come, O Come Emmanuel”, “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming”, “Away in a Manger”, “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “Now Sing We Now Rejoice”, the children told the story of Christ’s birth in a stable in a manger in Bethlehem.
