Faith Lutheran School conducted its sixth annual golf tournament on Friday, October 6 at McKinney’s Heritage Ranch Golf & Country Club.
“This golf tournament is an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for our school, raise awareness about our school and its mission, and for us to simply gather for fun and fellowship together,” said Faith Lutheran School Headmaster Rev. Stephen W. Kieser of Wylie. “Proceeds will help to provide our athletic teams the opportunity to replace old uniforms and buy needed equipment and will also benefit our tuition assistance program.”
The event raised more than $6,250, and post-event donations were still coming in following the event.
Event sponsors included Thrivent Financial; Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy Centers of Texas; Plano Magazine, Southwestern Chiropractic and Wellness Center; Anago Cleaning Systems of Dallas; Lenz Bus Service; State Farm – John Kraft; ABC Home and Commercial Services of DFW; Plano Sports Authority and others.
