This semester, Faith Lutheran School student chapel offerings will go to support FLS alum Sarah Pullen, who will soon be serving as headmistress of Nsinda Ikirezi Primary School located in the eastern province of Rwanda.
Located in the rural, poverty-stricken village of Nsinda, this Christian preschool and primary school serves more than 100 children, with room for many more. Most parents in this area do not have enough money to pay school fees, without which the organization cannot pay teacher’s salaries or provide food for the children. Sarah has partnered with Commission to Every Nation (CTEN), a non-denominational missionary agency. Sarah hopes to serve in Rwanda for as long as possible, and has created an online sponsorship program for those interested in providing funding to further the education of students at the school where she will serve.
